Come celebrate with us!
The 2027 Earth Day Celebration is a free event that will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Rutherford County’s Historic Downtown Square.
Rutherford County’s Earth Day Celebration is dedicated to educating and mobilizing our community toward meaningful environmental action. The event encourages residents to embrace sustainable habits that help protect our natural resources and create a healthier, more vibrant community for future generations.
Enjoy local and organic products, live music, free food, environmental and educational booths, a scavenger hunt, a Kids Zone, and giveaways. With something for all ages, the celebration offers a fun and engaging way for families, friends, and neighbors to come together, connect with local organizations, and learn how small actions can make a big difference for our environment.

Additional Information
For the Earth Day Celebration to succeed, we need vendor participation. Please review all the information you need to apply and participate including the ‘Rules and Guidelines,' as some items have been updated from previous years. The application deadline is Friday, April 9, but we appreciate having the applications sooner to communicate with the public about booth participants in advance.
The Earth Day Celebration has evolved and grown since it began in 2002. Through the years, we've created a more engaging experience for those who attend. Live music, interactive booths with local environmentally friendly organizations, and an interactive Kids Zone are just some of the things we've added to make this event better.
