The cooperative way
As part of National Cooperative Month each October, Middle Tennessee Electric employees look forward to participating in the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Day of Service. They join hundreds of co-op employees across the state to donate their time to community service projects.
MTE is guided by the Seven Cooperative Principles, one being “Concern for Community.” Our team is always looking for meaningful ways to support our members and the communities we serve.
For this year’s Day of Service, MTE employees will be participating in several projects, including a Habitat for Humanity build in Lebanon, a home rebuild project for tornado victims in Readyville, a pollinator garden project at Franklin’s Johnson Elementary, sorting toys for GraceWorks in Franklin and a playground restoration project at Spring Hill’s Allendale Elementary.
To let us know about any organizations or projects MTE could support in your community, contact Community Relations Supervisor Jay Sanders at 615-494-1065.
