Keeping trees and vegetation away from the electric system is critical to ensuring line workers have safe access to equipment during outages or routine maintenance. If you have questions about MTE’s tree pruning or about tree placement near electrical facilities or power lines, our trained professionals are here to help. MTE’s vegetation management specialists are certified arborists familiar with a wide variety of tree species and proper pruning techniques. They coordinate tree pruning efforts with our contractors throughout the MTE service area. Most importantly, they are here to serve our membership by providing information and explanations about our vegetation management program.
